I joined the watch industry as a 17-year-old, over five years ago, stepping into the role of a Junior Creative at a successful British watch brand. My fascination with watches and design had been a constant in my life, often finding myself the go-to person in school for the time, thanks to the watch on my wrist.

Over a brilliant four-year stint with this brand, I immersed myself in watch design and 3D rendering. During this time, I created a range of successful watches inspired by vintage skin-divers and designed the first stages of a collaboration with Christopher Ward.

A growing desire to broaden my horizons and provide my rendering skills to a variety of watch brands led me to venture beyond my position. Today, I collaborate with fantastic brands from around the world, creating renders for their watches even before they physically exist.

The thought of creating my own watch has lingered in the back of my mind. In this industry, there's an issue of copycat watches. While paying homage to iconic designs is understandable, I often come across watches that took inspiration a step too far. How many Rolex Submariner imitations can there be? It became apparent that there was a need for something different. That need birthed Maystone.
